Football Recap: Hayfork's Punishing Run Game Keeps Rolling + How To Watch

Hayfork was not the first on the board on Friday, but they got there more often. They strolled past the Rogue River Chieftains with points to spare, taking the game 36-20.

Levi Cavalli went supernova, rushing for 263 yards and four scores while picking up 13.8 yards per carry, and also throwing for 19 yards and one touchdown. His rushing production has been exceptional for a while as that marked his 14th straight game with at least 117 rushing yards dating back to last season.

Cavalli was just one part of a punishing run game: Hayfork was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 346 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 258 rushing yards in 12 consecutive contests dating back to last season.

Hayfork's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Rogue River, they dropped their record down to 1-1 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.
