Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Emerson). They were the clear victor by a 60-35 margin over the Leonia Lions on Friday. The Cavaliers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matches by 25 points or more this season.

Emerson's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Leonia, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Emerson will host Dumont at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Leonia, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Leonia Lions duke it out with the Palisades Park Tigers at 4:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
