Softball Game Preview: Trinity Hillers vs. Bethel Park Black Hawks

The Trinity Hillers will head out to face off against the Bethel Park Black Hawks at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Trinity easily dispatched Peters Township on Wednesday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. The Hillers fell just short of Connellsville by a score of 5-3 on Friday.

Meanwhile, Bethel Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 12-1 to Baldwin. That's two games in a row now that the Black Hawks have lost by exactly 11 runs.

Trinity now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Bethel Park, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-4.

Trinity took their win against Bethel Park when the teams last played back in May of 2023 by a conclusive 7-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Hillers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
