Baseball Recap: Kern Valley Comes Up Short

Kern Valley and Chavez squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Kern Valley had to settle for second. They came up short against the Titans, falling 10-0.

Kern Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 16-9. As for Chavez, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-5 record this season.

Kern Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Chavez, they will challenge Corcoran at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers will roll in looking for their 13th straight victory, something the Titans surely won't give up without a fight.
