Basketball Recap: Marion-Franklin Comes Up Short

Marion-Franklin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were beaten by the Africentric Early College Nubians 80-41. While losing is never fun, the Red Devils can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 697th, while the Nubians are ranked 118th).

Marion-Franklin's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Africentric Early College, the victory (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 12-1.

Marion-Franklin and St. Charles will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. As for Africentric Early College, they and Kenton Ridge will face off at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played.
