Mediapolis hadn't done well against Mt. Pleasant recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. Everything went the Mediapolis Bulldogs' way against the Mt. Pleasant Panthers as the Mediapolis Bulldogs made off with a 71-50 win. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 20 points or more this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Mediapolis and bumps their season record up to 12-8. As for Mt. Pleasant, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-13.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mediapolis will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Tipton at 7:30 p.m. on February 13th. Mt.
