The Panthers took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Oppenheim-Ephratah-St. Johnsville Wolves on Friday. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Wolves recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Cubby Roth (C) put in work no matter where he played. He struck out seven batters over six innings while giving up four earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. He was even better at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three runs.

Roth (C) wasn't the only one making solid contact as two players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Landon Conyne, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases. Patrick Allen also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen bases of the season.
