Volleyball Recap: Southwest Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Southwest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Putnam County War Eagles. The Patriots were not able to make up for their defeat to the War Eagles from their previous meeting back in August of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-10.

Southwest's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Putnam County, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-4.

Coming up, Southwest is taking a road trip to square off against Howard at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Putnam County, they have already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Westside on the 30th.
