Heritage has gone 9-1 against Loudoun County recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Pride will be playing at home against the Captains at 6:30 p.m. Heritage will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.
Heritage is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Tuscarora, sneaking past 6-5. That's two games straight that the Pride have won by just one run.

Sam Walsh tossed a big game, striking out six batters over 6.1 innings while giving up five earned runs off six hits. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in April.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Cooper Miskelly, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base. That's the most runs he has posted since back in May of 2024.
Heritage kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They are 4-1 when they post 11 or more hits.
Meanwhile, Loudoun County won against Park View on May 13th with 13 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on May 15th. The Captains didn't even let the Patriots on the board, marking the Captains' second-straight 13-0 shutout. The Captains might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by eight runs or more this season.
Ben Griffin made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Loudoun County is undefeated when he allows at most one earned run, but 3-7 otherwise. Griffin was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run and one RBI.
In other batting news, Dhillon Ruparella was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Jacob Martin, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and one RBI.
Heritage pushed their record up to 13-11 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Loudoun County, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-7.
Heritage took their victory against Loudoun County in their previous matchup back in April by a conclusive 17-7 score. Do the Pride have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Captains turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
