Jay gave up the first runs on Tuesday, but they didn't let that get them down. They walked away with a 5-2 win over the Harlandale Indians. The Mustangs haven't had any issues with the Indians recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Jay let Julian Lara and Max Menchaca run wild. Lara went 2-for-3 with one triple and one run, while Menchaca went 2-for-3 with two runs. Isiah Flores was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one triple and two RBI.

Jay's win bumped their record up to 6-8. As for Harlandale, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-8.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Jay will take on rival Winn at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Harlandale is set to face off against their familiar foe Southside at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
