Basketball Recap: Stoney Creek Takes a Loss

Stoney Creek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 62-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of the University Eagles. The Cougars were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Eagles earlier this season, when they won 58-46.

Stoney Creek's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for University, the victory got them back to even at 8-8.

Stoney Creek will take on Berkley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Stoney Creek is facing Berkley at the right time seeing as Berkley is stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for University, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when the University Eagles face off against the Royal Oak Ravens at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Royal Oak will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something University surely won't give up without a fight.
