Basketball Recap: Summit Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Summit Christian Academy suffered their closest defeat since December 6, 2024 on Thursday. They fell just short of the Oak Grove Panthers by a score of 32-29. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Summit Christian Academy and nudges their season record down to 8-7-1. As for Oak Grove, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Summit Christian Academy will head out to square off against St. Paul Lutheran at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Oak Grove, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Oak Grove Panthers duke it out with the Clinton Cardinals at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
