Soccer Recap: Shadle Park Takes a Loss

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Shadle Park and Mt. Spokane had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Highlanders lost 6-0 to the Wildcats on Friday. The loss continues a trend for Shadle Park in their meetings with Mt. Spokane: they've now lost eight in a row.

Shadle Park's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Mt. Spokane, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-3-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Shadle Park is set to square off against their familiar foe Gonzaga Prep at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Mt. Spokane will take on rival Lewis & Clark at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
