Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Mackenzie Mcclain and Abby Dickens Lead Johnson County to Victory

Johnson County's game last Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They came out on top against the University School Buccaneers by a score of 57-44. The Longhorns haven't had any issues with the Buccaneers recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Johnson County was led to victory by Abby Dickens and MacKenzie McClain. Dickens posted 18 points, while McClain earned 13 points in addition to seven assists and four steals. The dominant performance also gave McClain a new career-high in field goal percentage (75%). Audrey Shaw was another key player, putting up 13 points along with seven boards and three steals.

Johnson County's win bumped their record up to 11-19. As for University School, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-17.
