Volleyball Recap: Oakes Tornadoes vs. Edgeley/Kulm/Montpelier Rangers
If Oakes was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Barnes County North co-op [North Central/Wimbledon-Courtenay] last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Tornadoes came up short against the Edgeley/Kulm/Montpelier Rangers on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Tornadoes were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rangers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.
Oakes was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Edgeley/Kulm/Montpelier work for it, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-13, 25-23.

Oakes will take on Enderlin at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Tornadoes are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Edgeley/Kulm/Montpelier, after both having extra time off, they and Napoleon/Gackle-Streeter will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
