Volleyball Recap: Williams Field's Win on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Five

Williams Field entered their tilt with Corona del Sol on Saturday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Aztecs.

Gavin Mortensen paced Williams Field's offense, picking up nine kills. Mortensen got some help from Luke Raymond and his 20 assists. Mortensen was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.

Williams Field's victory bumped their record up to 17-4. As for Corona del Sol, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-20 record this season.

Coincidentally, Williams Field and Corona del Sol will both be playing Hamilton the next time they take the court. The Aztecs will head out to face the Huskies at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Black Hawks will play them later in the day, at 12:00 p.m.
