Byron Nelson is a perfect 7-0 against Northwest since February of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Byron Nelson Bobcat will challenge the Northwest Texans at 7:30 p.m. Northwest took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Byron Nelson, who comes in off a win.

Byron Nelson's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They came out on top against V.R. Eaton by a score of 2-0. Given the Bobcat's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 211th, while the Eagles are ranked 663rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, after soaring to five goals the game before, Northwest was a bit more limited in their game on Tuesday. They came up short against Southlake Carroll, falling 4-1. The Texans have struggled against the Dragons recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meetings.

Byron Nelson has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season. Northwest's loss dropped their record down to 7-7.

Byron Nelson was able to grind out a solid win over Northwest in their previous meeting back in February, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for Byron Nelson since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
