Columbia put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Red Bud Musketeers 54-13. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 40-0.

Columbia's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jase Nelson, who rushed for 155 yards and a pair of scores on only eight carries. Nelson really tore up the turf during one magnificent 73-yard run. Jackson Lawal was another key receiver, gaining 147 total yards and two touchdowns.

Columbia's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Red Bud, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Columbia and Red Bud will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Eagles will square off against rival Roxana at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Red Bud is set to take on their familiar foe Carlyle at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
