Basketball Recap: Grand Traverse Academy Comes Up Short

Grand Traverse Academy lost against St. Francis back in February of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Grand Traverse Academy Mustangs had to suffer through a 77-22 loss at the hands of the St. Francis Gladiators.

Grand Traverse Academy's loss came despite strong showings from Charlie Dennis and Weston Kinney. Dennis posted 11 points and six boards, while Kinney scored seven points and nine rebounds. Kinney is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down eight or more in each of the last four games he's played.

Grand Traverse Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 10-10. As for St. Francis, they moved to 7-16 with that win, which also ended their seven-game losing streak.

Grand Traverse Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for St. Francis, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 69-43 loss against Glen Lake on the 26th.
