Football Game Preview: Bellarmine Prep Lions vs. Silas Rams + How To Watch

For the first time this season, Bellarmine Prep will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will welcome the Silas Rams at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Friday, Bellarmine Prep earned a 31-21 victory over Kelso. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lions.

Bellarmine Prep can attribute much of their success to Josiah Moeckel, who gained 182 total yards, and Birk Johnston, who threw for 238 yards and four TDs.

Meanwhile, Silas was not the first on the board last Thursday, but they got there more often. They managed a 30-26 win over Rogers.

Silas' victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Bellarmine Prep, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Bellarmine Prep didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Silas when the teams last played back in September of 2024, but they still walked away with a 27-21 win. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was the Rams' Carsyn Stolz, who threw for 224 yards and a pair of touchdowns, and also rushed for 32 yards and one score. Now that he's got a second chance to win this matchup, will the Lions still be able to contain Stolz? There's only one way to find out.
