Flowing Wells won the last time they faced Pueblo and things went their way on Monday too. The Caballeros skirted past the Warriors 3-2.

Flowing Wells wouldn't go down easily and took Pueblo into a fifth set where they got it done with a two-point win. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-22, 18-25, 21-25, 16-14.

Ashley Evano paced Flowing Wells' offense, picking up 16 kills. Evano got some help from Rhyleigh Marshall and her 41 assists. Azul Valenzuela controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Emma Castillo and Mia Beltran certainly did their best on Monday to avoid the loss. Castillo had 17 digs and two aces, while Beltran had nine digs and five assists.

Flowing Wells' win bumped their record up to 7-15. As for Pueblo, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-13 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Flowing Wells is set to face off against their familiar foe Buena at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Pueblo will challenge rival Nogales at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
