Berean Academy's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed last Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Southwest Leadership Academy 38-0. The victory was just business as usual for the Eagles, who after four games remain undefeated this season.

Gila Bend better keep an eye on JOHNNY TORRES. He was instrumental in Berean Academy's win, rushing for 188 yards and one touchdown on only 11 carries. TORRES' longest rush was for an impressive 65 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total. Another player making a difference was ISAAC MERRILL, who rushed for 60 yards and one score on only eight carries.

Berean Academy was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 342 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

BANKS is crushing it when it comes to sacks: he's posted at least one every time he's taken the field this season.

Berean Academy's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Gila Bend, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.
