Bay City Western never let their opponents score on Saturday. They came out on top against the Flushing Raiders by a score of 5-0. That's more bragging rights for the Warriors, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Bay City Western saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Andy Robbins, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI. Those two hits gave Robbins a new career-high. Luke Lacourse also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Bay City Western's win bumped their record up to 22-6. As for Flushing, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-10.

Bay City Western and Flushing should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings.
