Soccer Game Preview: Peninsula vs. Lakes + How To Watch

For the first time this season, Peninsula will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will be playing at home against the Lakes Lancers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Peninsula will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

Peninsula's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They blew past North Thurston 7-0. The result was nothing new for Peninsula, who have now won five matchups by four goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Lakes unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-match winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of Timberline by a score of 3-2.

Braelyn Carey wasn't going to let the Blazers walk away unscathed as she scored both of Lakes' goals, bringing her season total up to 19 goals.

Lakes now has a losing record of 5-6-1. As for Peninsula, their victory bumped their record up to 9-3-1.

Everything went Peninsula's way against Lakes when the teams last played two weeks ago, as Peninsula made off with a 6-1 win. Do the Seahawks have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Lancers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
