Brick Memorial lost against Southern Regional back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Brick Memorial Mustangs opened the new year with a less-than-successful 59-50 loss to the Southern Regional Rams. The Mustangs' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Brick Memorial's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 6-2. As for Southern Regional, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Brick Memorial won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Central Regional at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Southern Regional, they will also get right back to it: they'll square off against Freehold Boro at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
