Basketball Recap: Diller-Odell Picks Up Second Consecutive Win

Deshler came into Friday's contest looking for another win against Diller-Odell, but Myleigh Weers wouldn't allow it. Everything went the Diller-Odell Griffin's way against the Deshler Dragons on Friday as the Diller-Odell Griffin made off with a 46-24 win thanks in part to Weers, who posted 26 points. Her evening made it six games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points.

Baileigh Vilda was another key player, putting up nine points. What's more, she also racked up two blocks, the most she's had since back in January of 2024.

The victory made it two in a row for Diller-Odell and bumps their season record up to 4-2. As for Deshler, they now have a losing record at 3-4.

Diller-Odell wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 60-53 win against Tri County on the 30th. As for Deshler, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 48-36 victory against Meridian on the 30th.
