Lakeside had already won eight in a row and they went ahead and made it nine on Saturday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Wallace Miners. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Knights have posted since August 26th.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Lakeside who won the one that mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 21-25, 25-20, 24-26, 15-11.

Lakeside's win bumped their record up to 15-1. As for Wallace, their loss dropped their record down to 13-8.

As of now, neither Lakeside nor the Miners have any future games scheduled.
