Game recap

Baldwin (Fla.) grabbed a lead in the first quarter and rode that momentum to a 47-6 win over Englewood (Jacksonville, Fla.).

The Indians put up six points in the opening frame. Baldwin scored on a touchdown pass by Mullis Jordan to Kevin James and a touchdown.

BHS was up 26-6 at the half after taking the lead on a touchdown pass by Jordan to James in the first quarter.

The Indians expanded their lead to 35 points entering the fourth quarter. Baldwin scored three times in the third, including once on a Jordan touchdown pass to Brooks Wilson.

Jordan played well for BHS in the victory. The senior quarterback threw three touchdowns. He has now scored three touchdowns on the season.

The Rams' lone touchdown came on a 65-yard run in the second quarter.

Last season's game between the teams resulted in a 34-7 win for the Indians.

The win was a nice bounce back for Baldwin, which lost to Stanton last week, 20-16. The loss was the third in a row for Englewood. The victory snapped BHS's 2-game losing streak.

Baldwin (1-2) goes up against Dixie County in a 1A District 7 game matchup next week, while Englewood (0-3) locks horns with Bartram Trail in a 6A District 4 game.
