Basketball Recap: Lemon Bay Manta Rays vs. LaBelle Cowboys/Cowgirls
Lemon Bay lost against LaBelle two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Lemon Bay Manta Rays took a 56-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the LaBelle Cowboys/Cowgirls. The Manta Rays have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lemon Bay lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Adam Schwartz, who posted ten points. Those ten points gave Schwartz a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Elias Gambrell, who scored ten points and six boards.

Lemon Bay's defeat dropped their record down to 7-12. As for LaBelle, they pushed their record up to 16-5 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home.
Lemon Bay wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 61-46 loss against Venice on the 28th. LaBelle has also already played their next game, a 63-26 victory against Lake Placid on the 28th.
