Soccer Recap: Columbine Falls Short of Cherokee Trail in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Columbine can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the Cherokee Trail Cougars on Wednesday. Columbine have struggled against Cherokee Trail recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Columbine's loss dropped their record down to 7-4-5. As for Cherokee Trail, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-3-3.

Columbine does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cherokee Trail, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 1-1 win against Denver East on the 4th.
