Shorecrest won the last time they faced Lynnwood and things went their way on Friday too. The Scots came out on top against the Royals by a score of 5-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Scots.

Shorecrest let Oliver Verdoes and Koen Ekstrom run wild. Verdoes went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run, while Ekstrom went 3-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. Those two RBI gave Verdoes a new career-high. Elyas Rojas was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

Shorecrest's record is now 6-8-1. As for Lynnwood, their loss was their seventh straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-13.

Looking ahead, Shorecrest will face off against King's at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Knights' pitching crew has only allowed 2.6 runs per game this season, so the Scots' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Lynnwood, they will take on Marysville-Pilchuck at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
