Basketball Game Preview: North Henderson Knights vs. East Henderson Eagles

The North Henderson Knights will venture away from home to take on the East Henderson Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. North Henderson has now lost ten straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since December 28.

North Henderson is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Franklin on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. North Henderson was outmatched by Franklin and fell 66-20. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 499th, while the Panthers are ranked 238th).

Meanwhile, East Henderson hadn't done well against Tuscola recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. East Henderson came out on top against Tuscola by a score of 47-34. 47 seems to be a good number for the Eagles as the team scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.

North Henderson's defeat dropped their record down to 2-19. As for East Henderson, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-13.

North Henderson came up short against East Henderson in their previous meeting back in January, falling 30-23. Can North Henderson avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
