Yareilis Santiago-Campos was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged two or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Maritime Academy Charter's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 4-4. As for Simon Gratz, the win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 2-4.
