Softball Recap: Conrad Takes a Loss

Conrad was the 18-5 winner over Pinkston when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. Conrad came up short against Pinkston on Saturday, falling 16-3. The Chargers' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Conrad's loss dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Pinkston, they pushed their record up to 7-10 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Conrad will challenge Wilmer-Hutchins at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Wilmer-Hutchins has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 21.86 runs per game on average), something Conrad will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Pinkston, they will square off against North Dallas at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Pinkston will need to watch out since North Dallas has now posted at least ten runs in their last four contests.
