Basketball Recap: Bonita Comes Up Short

Bonita lost against Glendora on January 14th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The match between the Bonita Bearcats and the Glendora Tartans didn't end well, with the Bonita Bearcats falling 72-54. While losing is never fun, the Bearcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 457th, while the Tartans are ranked 62nd).

Bonita now has a losing record at 13-14. As for Glendora, the victory was the 22nd in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 24-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bonita will venture away from home to square off against Ayala at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Glendora, they will head out on the road to challenge Walnut at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Glendora's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 25 contests.
