Softball Recap: Paris Takes a Loss

If Paris was feeling good fresh off their 15-5 takedown of Lloyd Memorial on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Greyhounds came up short against the Gallatin County Wildcats on Saturday, falling 14-4. The Greyhounds were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wildcats earlier this season, when they won 8-5.

Paris' loss dropped their record down to 13-10-1. As for Gallatin County, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-10 record this season.

Paris will challenge Danville Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Gallatin County, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 11-8 victory against Shelby County on the 5th.
