It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Cherokee had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They managed a 65-61 victory over the Bishop McGuinness Villains. The win was familiar territory for the Braves, who have now won 16 games in a row.

Joscelyn Stamper continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double with 29 points and 22 rebounds. Those 22 boards gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Daisee Fourkiller-Raby, who shot 50% from the field to rack up 18 points.

Cherokee smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 14 offensive boards in five consecutive matches.

Bishop McGuinness' loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Adelaide Jernigan, who went 9-for-20 on her way to 25 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Jernigan's big performance that evening made it 30 games in a row in which she has scored at least 17 points. Jenna Moore was another key player, shooting 42% from the field en route to 14 points and five steals.

Cherokee pushed their record up to 27-2 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 46.2 points. As for Bishop McGuinness, their defeat ended a 14-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 27-3.

As of now, neither Cherokee nor Bishop McGuinness have any future games scheduled.
