Softball Recap: Liberty Ranch Extends Winning Streak to Nine

Liberty Ranch entered their tilt with Bradshaw Christian on Tuesday with eight consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with nine. They were the clear victors by an 8-1 margin over the Pride. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 11-1 back in April.

Laura Quinn looked comfortable as she tossed four innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 15 consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Khali Barrantes was a standout: she went 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. That home run was her first of the season. Xiana Juarez was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Liberty Ranch kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 11 hits in four consecutive contests.

Liberty Ranch's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-5. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Bradshaw Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-12-1.
