Basketball Game Preview: St. Croix Falls Saints vs. Unity Eagles

St. Croix Falls is a perfect 10-0 against Unity since February of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Saints will look to defend their home court against the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

St. Croix Falls is headed into the game having just suffered their biggest loss since December 17, 2024 on Tuesday. They came up short against Baldwin-Woodville, falling 61-39. The Saints haven't had much luck with the Blackhawks recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 66-33, which was the final score in Unity's tilt against Ladysmith on Monday.

St. Croix Falls' defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Unity, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.

St. Croix Falls strolled past Unity when the teams last played back in February of 2021 by a score of 55-38. Will the Saints repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
