Basketball Game Preview: Rockwall-Heath Hawks vs. Longview Lobos

Rockwall-Heath has won three straight games at home, while Longview has won three straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Friday. The Rockwall-Heath Hawks will host the Longview Lobos at 1:30 p.m.

Rockwall-Heath saw some tournament action on Friday. They took a 60-43 bruising from Dickinson. While losing is never fun, the Hawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 418th, while the Gators are ranked 113th).

Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Longview against Rusk on Tuesday as the squad secured a 63-26 victory. The Lobos have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Longview's win bumped their record up to 16-3. As for Rockwall-Heath, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-14 record this season.
