Maysville typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday Tri-Valley proved too difficult a challenge. They escaped with a win against the Maysville Panthers by the margin of a single free throw, 65-64. Winning may never get old, but the Scotties sure are getting used to it with their tenth in a row.

Maysville lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Gator Nichols, who posted 29 points. That was a full 45.3% of Maysville's points, marking the fifth time in a row Nichols has earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Jordyn Watson, who went 5-for-11 on his way to 12 points along with seven boards and three steals.

Tri-Valley pushed their record up to 17-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.8 points over those games. As for Maysville, their loss dropped their record down to 17-3.
