Baseball Recap: Cistercian Comes Up Short

Cistercian was the 3-2 winner over Episcopal School of Dallas when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. The Hawks fell 9-5 to the Eagles on Wednesday.

Major Beasley made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two doubles and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Charlie Kobodish, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Cistercian's defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Episcopal School of Dallas, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-9-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cistercian will square off against Oakridge at 5:00 p.m. on the 25th. As for Episcopal School of Dallas, they will challenge First Baptist at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Saints will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight.
