Baseball Recap: McLean County Comes Up Short

After flying high against Trinity on Saturday, McLean County came back down to earth. McLean County came up short against the Breckinridge County Fighting Tigers on Saturday, falling 9-2. The contest marked the Cougars' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

McLean County saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hayden Hudson, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI.

McLean County's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Breckinridge County, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-2.

Coming up, a feisty cat fight will be fought as McLean County Cougars duke it out with Daviess County Panthers at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Breckinridge County, they will head out on the road to take on Grayson County at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Breckinridge County is facing Grayson County at the right time seeing as Grayson County is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
