Wishkah Valley hadn't done well against Washington School for the Deaf recently (they were 1-7 in their previous eight matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Loggers breezed past the Terriers to the tune of 56-13. The Loggers pushed the score to 50-13 by the end of the third, a deficit the Terriers had no chance of recovering from.

Nathan Yerkes and Michael McCullough certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Yerkes gained 139 total yards and a touchdown, while McCullough rushed for 44 yards and one touchdown. Washington School for the Deaf also got a significant boost from Valentin Medina, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 87 yards.

Wishkah Valley's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Washington School for the Deaf, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
