Baseball Recap: Cumberland Comes Up Short

Cumberland and Spooner squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Cumberland had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Rails by a score of 3-2. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Beavers couldn't push the score so high this time.

Cumberland's defeat dropped their record down to 8-19. As for Spooner, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 19-6.

As of now, neither Cumberland nor the Rails have any future games scheduled.
