The George West Longhorns secured a 43-38 W over the Freer Buckaroos thanks in part to Blevins, who went 9 of 16 on his way to 22 points in addition to six assists and six steals. That makes it ten consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of George West's points.

When it comes to explaining why Freer lost, don't look at Dehondre Hayes. Despite the final result, he went 6 for 15 on his way to 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ayden Ramirez, who posted seven points in addition to six boards and four steals.

George West has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. As for Freer, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-4 record this season.
