King's Academy is a perfect 10-0 against Eastside College Prep since September of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Knights will be playing at home against the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.
King's Academy managed to slip by Milpitas the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Knights lost 3-0 to the Trojans on Thursday. The Knights' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
King's Academy was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Milpitas work for it, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-25, 25-20, 25-11.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Shuwen Jin, who had 14 digs. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last four games she's played. Michaela Wu was another key player, getting eight digs.
Fans were treated to a battle of the Panthers on Thursday. Eastside College Prep came up short against Pinewood, falling 3-0. Eastside College Prep hasn't had much luck with Pinewood recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.
The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-8, 25-14.
Eastside College Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for King's Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 8-5.
King's Academy took their victory against Eastside College Prep in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Knights repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
