Steele extended their postseason success on Friday against Weslaco. They blew past the Panthers, posting a 45-14 victory. Considering the Knights have won nine contests by more than 19 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

DJ Green had an outrageously good game as he threw for 222 yards and three touchdowns on only 18 passes. He has been hot recently, having posted three or more passing touchdowns the last four times he's played. Jamin Harvell was another key player, picking up 103 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.

The win was the eighth in a row for Steele, bringing their record up to 11-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 47.1 points over those games. As for Weslaco, with the loss, they broke their seven-game winning streak and moved their record to 9-3.

Looking ahead, Steele will face off against Johnson at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. The Knights will need to watch out since the Jaguars have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. Weslaco does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
