Football Game Preview: Manassas Tigers vs. Booker T. Washington Warriors

The Manassas Tigers will head out to take on the Booker T. Washington Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Manassas is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak.

Manassas' offense might be in the hot seat on Friday considering what happened against Middle College on Thursday. They were dealt a 41-0 loss at the hands of the Bulldogs.

Meanwhile, Booker T. Washington lost 31-8 to Middleton on Friday.

Manassas will have to contain Alex Morgan as he made an impact in Booker T. Washington's last game. He picked up 105 receiving yards and one score.

Even if they lost, Booker T. Washington's defensive line still kept up the pressure with five sacks. Rodney Carpenter III was especially locked on to Middleton's QB and sacked him three times. Carpenter III has been hot, having also posted seven or more total tackles the last six times he's played.

Manassas' defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Booker T. Washington, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.

Manassas took their victory against Booker T. Washington when the teams last played back in September of 2024 by a conclusive 20-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
