Soccer Recap: Basalt Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Basalt, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They never let the Aspen Skiers get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory on Thursday. The Longhorns have beaten the Skiers the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Skiers has come to flipping the script.

Nyla Visnic and Macy Rowley scored both of Basalt's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Basalt's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2-1. As for Aspen, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.
